Man critically hurt in Richmond shooting

RICHMOND - A man is in critical condition at a Bay Area hospital following a shooting in the 2100 block of Roosevelt Avenue this afternoon.

The victim, who is in his mid-20s, was walking down the street at 10:32 a.m. when he was shot in the head by two men who approached him on foot, police said.

The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time, police said.

The Police Department asks anyone with information to call its tip line at 510-232-8477.
