Richmond teen hurt in baseball bat attack

RICHMOND - A 16-year-old boy is in critical condition today after police say another teenager attacked him with a baseball bat.
The victim was brought to Doctor's Medical Center in San Pablo with serious head injuries about 5:30 p.m. Monday, said Richmond police Lt. Mark Gagan. He was eventually transferred to Stanford University Medical Center, he said.
Police believe another 16-year-old boy struck the victim with a baseball bat. The attack likely occurred in the 2300 block of Emeric Avenue in Richmond shortly before the victim arrived at the hospital, Gagan said.
Police are looking for the attacker, who Gagan declined to identify. Anyone with information on the attack can contact the Richmond Police Department at 510-620-6655. Anonymous tips can be left at 510-232-8477.

P'haps as rumor has it you are being well paid from this towns coffers to redirect the issue from the terrible holocaust in our city by shining the spotlight on vocal citizens! Shamefully Richmond, great American town it once was has become a town where the word "activist" has become a dirty word & where dirty politics such as the idiotic attack on an outspoken person who cares about the state of his city occurs. The last time I CHECKED, "activism" has given us all the rights & priveledges we enjoy today. Do us all a favor & don't waste any more of our time w/ your ramblings & do something worthwhile like get involved and do something of import to keep our people alive unless its mass genocide that is your ultimate goal & perhaps even further the agenda of your dangerous parties. The citiizens who know will be the judges & from where many of us are standing our detractors are looking pretty petty, wasteful and blind. Take your heads out of the sand & look at the reality of the situation & do something worthwhile rather than point fingers at the outspoken & criticize and stand by & do nothing about real lives being lost. Godless folks forgetting that a civilization falls when you are at eachothers throats like this instead of having respect for human life. We are our bothers keepers.
