Shooting death in Richmond
A man was shot and killed in a Richmond parking lot late Saturday, police said.
The 30-year-old victim, whose name has not yet been released, was found dead about 11:15 p.m. in the parking lot of a cleaning business at 23rd Street and Esmond Avenue, said Richmond police Lt. Enos Johnson. The victim had no connection with the business, which was closed at the time.
Police said the victim was standing with other people in the parking lot when a vehicle approached. Three people exited the vehicle and a conversation ensued.
The victim began to walk away when one of the three pulled a handgun and shot the victim in the upper body, Johnson said.
The assailant and other two men left in a possibly light-colored American-model vehicle, police said.
Anyone with information can call Richmond police at 510-620-6933.

Irma's murder machine isn't about making safe streets now! It's about M-U-R-D-E-R!!!!!
To Rev. Newsome and Rev. Shumake and Mr. Ali: maybe the 23rd Street area also needs Tent Cities of its own? The message of love and peace you started looks like it needs to expand and spread!

Beware of Sociopaths (pathological liers) parading as civil and human rights leaders, always having those peace loving words. Their aim is their own glorification and their political and financial agendas not the saving of your loved ones.

Thank you to The Tazer for working to clean up the garbage and keep this site respectable.
I must agree with the poster above...it seems once again that these vultures live to get on TV, on the radio or in the dammed newspaper on the premise of "helping" our community. As I mentioned some time ago, there is Mike Ali again, trying to grab some spot light off the backs of the innocent. When is enough enough Mr. Ali? Are you that much of an egomaniac? And you call someone like Irma Anderson power hungry and crazy or someone like Gayle a communist! What garbage! I beg you to use your vote on November 7th for real change and to stop people like this in their tracks!
