Reverberation
Although we don't know if he reads the Tazer, we like Bud Wakeland anyway because he's echoing something we said at the time.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Leaking info a usual part of politics
Your editorial regarding Richmond Mayor Irma Anderson's car allowances was most welcome and appropriate, with the exception of the sentence, "We find the dirty pool unsavory."
What the heck is unsavory about her opponents leaking information at election time? That's the political process.
Opponents research and expose their opponents, who certainly are not going to expose themselves. That is obviously what happened, just as the Democrats leaked the Mark Foley information on the eve of the national election.
Fortunately, someone is researching those in power. Otherwise, we shortly would not have our freedom.
Anderson's opponents did exactly what they are supposed to do, and the Times did exactly what it is supposed to do, which is report.

Hey Socko, don't you need to have another drink before you report this information to Irma?
God knows how painful poling can be for her.

Everybody thinks dirt is freedom of information, and "truth" until it is your dirt and somebody distorts your "truth"
Just what Richmond needs...more dirty poltical leaks, and mudslingers.
Aren't the murderers enough?

Dear Great-googly-moogly,
Truth = Truth...except when it's "dirt"? C'mon now, you gotta do better than that!
Irma Anderson had her hand in TWO cookie jars at once and was discovered doing so. She rightfully coughed up the money, but then she blamed Isiah Turner for "making" her take it, to which he blamed her right back. Of course, the miracle discovery of $1800 isn't a "distortion"? It's just everyday "truth" right?
And just for the record, if you find "murderers" more palatable than "dirty political leaks, and mudslingers" then this election season should be the least of your worries.
Seek counseling,
The Richmond Truth Tazer

Irma and her spinners continue to spin! Truth = dirt now? How stupid do they think we are?!?! Just because SHE messed up and they don't like the message they want to kill the messenger.
Watch out! The murder machine is after messengers next!
