O-B-Boy!
Good Thursday Tazer Friends!
I have to say, the Tazer feels pretty good about things this morning, as we've inspired those we thought could not be inspired to actually perform a function:
Some of the power brokers at city hall have gotten together and created their VERY OWN BLOGSPOT for discussion on the City of Richmond Office of Violence Prevention! (we're so proud...It's like havin' a little baby...)
Unlike some who can't take a verbal lashing (which is well deserved), we don't hate here. The link to the city's new blog is http://cityofrichmondviolenceprevention.blogspot.com/
The Tazer encourages everyone to go have a look see and comment as you see fit. We'll keep an eye on it as well and give you updates as they are warranted.
Also, The Tazer received an email this morning in regard to comments about this past Tuesday's Council meeting. For those interested, The Tazer would love to have multiple opinions and analysis on the meeting if folks would like to post...The way The Tazer saw it, Sal Vaca (who is a good guy with a good concept) seemed to be made to jump through more hoops having to explain his position than is usual when dealing with the council...must mean he had a GREAT IDEA :)

I guess you could call this the first stepping stone to...something. At least there's an open forum...sort of...I guess...
But there's still the Committee to set Meetings for the Discussion of the Selection of a Consultant for Advice on the Creation of the Office of Violence Prevention, or whatever they're calling the whole rigamarole...which might just be a synonym for "the Anchor on the Ship at the Bottom of the Sea."
CUT TO CHASE!

The City Government of Richmond is a class-act joke. They had to go and create their own little blog spot in order to compete with the MIGHTY 'RICHMOND TRUTH TAZER'! Wonder how much money the consultant charged them to think up this great cyber-space piece of garbage! "Yeah, we will fight the war on violence in deep cyber-space! Those punks at the Tazer ain't gonna mess with my income. The Mayor's payin' me to fight violence and damn it I 'm gonna fight" Well again the Mayor's Office, is showing us how desperate she really is! And guess what Madam Mayor, THE BOYCOTT IS GOING ON! SEE YOU AT THE BARGAINING TABLE REAL SOON!

The City of Richmond is really doing nothing more than copycating you people.

CORRECTION: the city of Richmond would be copycating the Tazer if their blog were still up and running...which I don't see that it is...
What's with the cut & run!?
